The Pineider Avatar UR Deluxe rollerball pen is made of a mother or pearl compound resin called UltraResin developed in Florence for Pineider. The material's unique combination of elements makes it one of the most beautiful materials currently in use in the pen industry while also offering strength and resiliency. In fact, the material is similar to metal in its ability to resist damage from hits, high/low temperatures, and exposure to oil, ink, electricity, etc.
The Pineider Avatar UR Deluxe rollerball pen's magnetic catch cap design comes in a variety of matte finishes. Italian-made, these Pineider pens are crafted with glueless technology (assembled without glue), so it could be considered a bit of a technological puzzle.
