Part of Ystudio's Portable pen line, this pen includes a lanyard loop in the cap, along with a leather string for tying the cap to a belt, bag, or shoulder strap. It also includes a protective wooden shell with a smooth minimalist design and a sleek black finish. The shell includes a slot for the lanyard loop to fit through, so you can still use the loop while the pen is in the shell.
Inspired by the look of well-used vintage cameras, this "Brassing" pen is treated with a matte black lacquer finish that will wear off over time, exposing the solid brass body underneath. Once exposed, the raw brass will also darken and deepen over time. How this patina develops depends on how you use the pen—the more you write with it, the more unique your pen will become!
For those who want to take a more hands-on approach to customizing the look of their pen, it also comes with a sheet of sandpaper that you can use to intentionally remove some or all of black coating.
