This pen is very thin, possibly thinner than a standard pencil. The nice thing is that the pen is very comfortable to use. If you need a heftier (width) pen, this is not for you. There is some weight to the pen. It is of metal construction with what appears to be annodized coating. The coating has a tactile surface so your grip will not slide.
It is simplistic in design but has a definite appeal. All Montblanc pens I have are not the Meisterstrück and are used regularly. Do yourself a favor and get this pen. It may become a favorite of yours.
