l got both and was surprised by how nice they were. We really like them.
I wanted to highlight the exemplary service by Truphae. I received the pen with a small mark on the barrel, and despite the comparatively inexpensive price, they shipped a replacement without delay. The fact that they applied such good service to this item is excellent,
As for the pen, I bought it for the colour. The nib is EF/F and writes like a Japanese fine. Ink flow is very good and it's comfortable to use. Well worth the price.
This pen was received in my inkmeister box for November 21. It is a decent pen as in it writes really nicely and feels good in the hand most of the time. The finish is a soft enamel with a slight texture. I do enjoy that it is a screw to on cap, but I dislike the cap because of its weight. The cap because of the way it is shaped feels significantly heavier than the rest of the pen. It posts securely but it's too heavy to write with for more than half a page. I enjoy posting pens so this is a deal breaker for me. It's not like it is special enough for me to overlook its downside. If you don't post and don't mind having to put it down so often it will satisfy.
Solidly made pen with a screw on cap that fits well and posts well. Extra fine nib is surprisingly smooth and a pleasure to write with. The pen had a nice heft without being too heavy. The color is a peaceful two-tone gray-green. I like it so much I'm going to buy its two-tone blue companion.
I like this pen. The Extra Fine nib writes smoothly and reliably and is truly Extra Fine. The smooth matte finish is pleasant to hold and the grip is not slippery. Elegant and well-balanced with a solid feel. The cap seals tightly and I've never had the nib dry out even when left alone for an extended period. Cap posts well. A good value.
