This is my first hooded nib pen, and other than wondering how to clean it, I find it works very well. I haven't had any problem with the nib drying out, but perhaps that is because I use it every day. The light weight and slim design works very well with my smaller hands. A great pen at an affordable price!
This is a good pen for the cost that you pay. The nib tends to be difficult to write with and one needs to have patience ensuring not to price press down too hard. I found that if you line the nib up with the paper correctly and do not let the ink dry. I would recommend this pen for any beginners.
This pen is ideal for small hands. You must make sure you have the nib lined up with the paper because of the hood. You must also remember this it a $10.00 pen. It has a fine point, which worked well. The only, and a big deal for me, was that the pen will not accept international refills. It does come with an adapter that works very well. The opening on the adapter is larger than the refills and if forced, would probably split it. I would not hesitate carrying and using this pen daily. The refills is the reason for the rating.
This pen is a pleasure to hold and behold. It never makes splotches, glides on the paper, and is very affordable. Thumbs up.
The barrel is a little small for my hand. I have a light writing style and large hands. After using this for a hour, my hand was cramping. Overall the pen is nice, made of aluminum, modern styling, nib is smooth. It’s just too thin for me, my daughter loves it though. it also skipped allot for me but not for my daughter and that may have to do with writing angle.
