An extraordinary ink needs an extraordinary pen to match with. The new Classic 200 Golden Beryl creates the perfect fit together with the golden shimmering Edelstein® ink Golden Beryl. The slightly satined-transparent material allows a glimpse into the inside of the ink reservoir. If the pen is filled with Golden Beryl ink, it shows the fascinating flow of the golden shimmering elements swirling around when the pen is moved. At the same time the material itself glows in fine golden lights to harmonize with the ink impression.

The frosted clear pen barrel is made of a high quality resin that is embedded with fine gold sparkles. The pen is further enhanced with a gold-plated steel nib and decorative trim elements. All rings and the traditional Pelikan clip are plated with 24kt gold. This fountain pen also features the patented Pelikan differential piston mechanism for use with bottled ink.

Every writing instrument is assembled by hand and carefully checked to meet the strictest quality standards.

Beautiful! Just Beautiful!

The Pelikan Golden Beryl fountain pen is a lightweight beautiful writing instrument. The gold nib is a very smooth writer. The body is opaque, light enough to see the ink level and the gold glitter of the Golden Beryl ink as it builds up between the feed and the body. I have not experienced any clogging, hard starts or skips. But, the matching Golden Beryl ink must be cleaned out more often from my experience. (I bought the ink separately when notified the pen/ink set was out of stock.) The luxurious ink and pen combination is worth the slight extra effort!
The pen size and feel is similar to the Sailor Pro Gear Slim. Feels a little short unless capped for my small hands. I purchased the broad nib to show more of the ink. Ink capacity is good. I happily recommend this pen and it’s complimentary ink!

Gorgeous Pen and ink

I purchased the gift set and the pen is absolutely amazing. The ink looks like the shimmer dust/mica powder has settled and needs mixed again, but even then it's a very pretty color.
