The SWIPE is the newest model from TWSBI. It comes with three different filling mechanisms: a spring loaded piston converter, a traditional twist piston converter, and short standard international ink cartridges. One of each is included!

This pen has an opaque prussian blue body and cap, a clear grip section so you can see your ink flowing, and has a push/snap cap. It is completed with a silver stainless steel nib.

The SWIPE uses the same #4 size nib as the TWSBI ECO and the TWSBI GO.

What A Surprise!

I have never owned a TWSBI pen before and really never had any interest in them, but when I received an email offering me a chance to obtain the SWIPE for just $26.99 I though OK, I have little to lose if I don't like it.

It arrived today and I inked it up with Thornton's blue using the spring loaded piston already installed. Immediately I was very impressed with the smoothness of the nib and the consistent ink flow. This pen is in may ways better than some pens in my collection costing many times the price. The nib has the slightest feedback but I compared it to my recently acquired Lamy Studio and I think it is every bit as good. The Lamy of course is far better in terms of materials and workmanship, but it is not any better as a writing tool.

This is a wonderful pen for everyday use. I am impressed and this now leads me to investigate the higher priced pens from TWSBI. Highly recommended as an everyday writer.
