The outside body is made of aluminum and has a superior shiny finish due to its special anodized coating. This fountain pen has a violet purple barrel and cap, silver trim, a stainless steel nib, and accepts proprietary Platinum cartridges (one is included) or a Platinum converter (sold separately).
