The Perfect Opaque Brown

Fell in love with a sample of Stipula Sepia. Ordered this generously-sized bottle and couldn’t be happier. The color is great, the flow outstanding.

Lovely brown

Received a sample of this Stipula Sepia in my December Inkmeister box and it is my new favorite sepia. It has a lovely range of color, even with a fine nib. I am a lefty and smearing can be a challenge for me as a side-writer. It is a wetter ink but I only occasionally find a smear in my journals, usually it dries quickly enough for my purposes. It does have a slight smell that I cannot quite place, not unpleasant and subtle until it dries. I will be buying a bottle when my sample is out.
