The DeXi Executive is a real statement piece. It features a fully machined brass cap that screws onto the wooden styled body. The tapered body is made of synthetic wood that is made to look like either red oak, or teak wood grain. The pen comes with a converter, but can also accept standard international cartridges. It comes with an Iridium point nib. It is a long, desk pen style pen that is 6" in length. It comes without a clip on the cap.

Disappointing

Got this in the box a few years ago and finally got around to inking it. Terrible! So dry it gouged the paper, even with a wet ink. Brass shim didn’t help, and the pen isn’t worth the cost of paying a nibmeister, so out of the collection it goes. Too bad, because it looks fantastic.

I wanted to like it

I got this in a box. It looks sweet. I've tried using it with different inks. It's dry. It's scratchy. It just won't flow. I toyed around using it as a dip pen one time. There are better pens in this price range.

Looks are Everything

The look of this pen really speaks to me with the contrast of the red oak and brass. But it was one of the worst writing experiences I've ever had. Extremely scratchy and super dry. Thanks to the price, it wasn't much of a loss when I tossed it in the trash.

A Very Dry and Scratchy Writer

This was the pen I received in my June box. I don't like it. It writes very dry and scratchy with skipping like there is a blockage in the feeds or something. I've flushed the pen using a bulb syringe, tried multiple inks. I have to write so hard to get any ink flow I worry that I'm going to break the nib.

The cap doesn't post.

I think I would like it more if it would actually write.
