Double-ended fountain pens are not for the faint of heart. The Penbbs 469 sports two, fine point stainless steel nibs.

Use two ink colors in one fountain pen by eyedropper-filling each side with a different color.

An included eyedropper and replacement rollerball tip allows you to convert one of the writing ends into a rollerball tip that writes with fountain pen ink. The caps and grip sections are fashioned from beautiful acrylic resin that displays a vibrant, chatoyant finish.

  • Crafted from translucent marbled acrylic and a clear transparent resin
  • Fitted with two #6 size stainless steel, fine point nibs
  • Eyedropper filling only. (Greasing the section threads with 100% silicone grease is recommended)

4 stars, because the nibs are a bit scratchy, and there doesn’t seem to be a broad nib available.

I love this pen. I bought two now. I'm an old-time blue/red pencil user and it is great to have this in a fountain pen.

I love the eye-dropper ink reservoirs. They are a good capacity and easy to fill.

Love the unique look of this pen. Writes wet and I would say more of a medium than fine. As always shipped quick and packaged very well.

It's like two little pens in one

The Penbbs 469 is odd in that it is a double eye dropper pen. I can carry one less pen now. I find it writes smoothly with just the smallest hint of feedback.
The pen works like it should. It's pretty and attracts attention. The resin is so smooth that when wet it can be hard to hold onto. I would not use this for a final exam or anything else that would cause sweaty palms. The build quality seems solid, but for one set of threads for the cap. The cap drags some instead of going on smoothly. The pen does not post. It's a lot of fun however to write with it without any caps and rotate it between my fingers to change color. I am still trying to figure out how to get the nibs lined up on both sides so I can do less manipulation. Overall a nice statement pen.
