This Maiora Aventus fountain pen features a flecked red resin body and cap, a beautifully engraved cap ring, and ruthenium-plated trim. The pen fills via standard international cartridge/converter and uses a ruthenium-plated #6 JoWo steel nib.
This pen is a Truphae exclusive, limited edition of just 150 pieces. Each pen is individually numbered.
The Maiora Pen Company makes all of their pens by hand in Naples, Italy. Maiora is managed by Nino Marino, the former co-founder and president of the Delta Pen Company. Maiora also produces fountain pens under the Nettuno brand.
The pen came packaged nicely, although a bit late for the special occasion. It was appreciated by the recipient. The pen has a large body. I think that the color will be a deterrent for theft. Enjoy!
Beautiful pen. Wrote smoothly out of the box. The red and black contrast catch the eye. Definitely in my top 5 favorite pens.
