Maiora Liberta Tondo Doni Limited Edition Fountain Pen

This Maiora Libertà limited edition fountain pen features an ebonite body. Each fountain pen is made entirely of special ebonite, rich in chromatic shades, hand turned from a solid bar, then hand polished in order to obtain a perfect mirror surface. The gold vermeil over 925 sterling silver band placed on the fountain pen cap bears an ancient Pompeian decoration. The clip, made of special elastic metal, is equipped with a wheel that facilitates the insertion of the pen in the pocket. The barrel has a transparent window for checking the ink level. The pen is finished with a #6 JoWo 18kt gold nib.

This fountain pen is made with a piston mechanism, a reservoir concealed inside the barrel. Twist the blind cap counterclockwise until it stops; dip the entire nib into the ink bottle; draw ink into the pen by twisting the blind cap clockwise until it stops; remove the nib from the ink bottle; twist the blind cap half a turn counterclockwise, letting a little ink drop out to release air; clean the nib with a damp, lint-free cloth.

A United States exclusive, only 18 pens are available in this limited edition.

The Maiora Pen Company makes all of their pens by hand in Naples, Italy and is managed by the former co-founder and president of the Delta Pen Company. Maiora also produces fountain pens under the Nettuno brand.
