I'm using it at this very moment. It's a great conversation starter and my clients always want to use it. As long as they're signing checks, I let them lol. Otherwise, nobody can touch it.
The Luoshi Bronze Dragon gives proof to the idea that how a pen writes is more important than how it looks. The dragon writes like a dream. If you had to choose between a pair of shoes, would you rather have ones that were stylish and garnered compliments while pinching your toes and leaving you with bunions and blister or would choose a pair that while not as stylish were a joy to wear and left you feeling like you could walk another mile. Well the Luoshi Antique Bronze Dragon leaves me feeling like I could "write another mile."
This pen is even more stunning than pictures can show. It has a nice weight to it, and doesn’t feel cheap. A very good value, and great starter pen. Writes a bit scratchy, but puts down a lovely line of ink.
This is my first Fountain pen EVER. I do have a dip pen which led to my interest in fountain pens. I saw this loved the design. I think mine may have come slightly damaged as the barrel had some pitting in the metal design on about 1/3 of it. The pitting causes it to have a sparkling appearance which I think adds to the beauty. But I honestly think that may be the only thing wrong with it and in my opinion it isn't a bad thing. But as a first time fountain pen user it was easy to fill and easy to take apart and reassemble. It took a few tries for me to fill the converter fully but that was on me as it was my first time. The weight of the pen was heavy but not overly heavy. It is easily the best pen I have ever bought. It writes smoothly using the Montverde purple reign ink. I've not tried any samples in it but I do believe I'll be buying one of every color.
I almost tossed this after loading with India Ink from Amazon and not getting it to write, but it was a very easy to clean and then it wrote beautifully when I filled it with a Monteverde sample from an Inkcredible box. Lesson learned, but I am still looking for a fountain pen ink that I can sketch with and watercolor over.
