The Montblanc 1246 was produced in the 1970s, and was one of the flashiest of the pen range at the time. It features a long, fully gold plated body with a classic pinstripe pattern throughout. The pen has a piston filler mechanism, so the ink capacity is better than one would expect from a converter-filled fountain pen. It comes with an 18k gold nib.
This particular pen is in mint preowned condition. It appears to have never been inked, although we have tested it with water to make sure it is working properly. It comes without the original boxes and papers.
