scratchy nib, poor ink floor

Moonman M2 is an over-hyped pen that is scratchy, rough, and has very poor ink flow. I strongly suspect that most of the rave reviews that we get to see on the internet about Chinese pens are biased, planted, and quite possibly paid for. Mine will go into the dustbin once my patience is exhausted.

Looks nice. You see the ink. Worst nib I ever tried. Scratchy. You wonder if the paper will tear.

Pretty and Holds Lots of Ink

June Inkredible box. Clear, it is a great choice for a colorful ink, I had a nice blue. I think it would look pretty bland with my normal black ink. Not sure whether I got the Fine or Extra Fine, but the nib gives me a clean line. I mostly draw with my pens. A bit hard to get started, but I did my daily drawing with it and didn't have any issues. The large reservoir means I'm not likely to run out of ink in the middle of even a large drawing. I'd give it a 5 if it had a clip on it. I work on a slightly inclined surface, and without the clip, they roll!

Jury is still out on this one

Received this in a subscription box along with a lovely gold Lamy. This pen is lovely to look at and super easy to fill. However it is really scratchy when it does write and mostly doesn't seem to want to write at all. Maybe it's the extra fine point so I wouldn't condemn the pen full out but if anyone who loves this pen has any suggestions for getting a decent predictable ink flow please let me know.
