Very pretty, but dry writer

I got this for a Secret Santa gift. The blue pattern is very beautiful. The embedded pieces are translucent, which gives the pattern a striking and unusual depth. I tested the pen before gifting it and found it to be a very dry writer, almost pastelizing a normally dark ink. The nib was slightly misaligned with the feed, but realigning it didn't seem to increase the flow. I didn't find it a joy to write with, but if you like your pens on the dry side, then it may be right for you.

Great little pen!

I purchased this pen for my seven year old daughter and she loves it. She calls it her “Frozen” pen since it’s the same colors as Elsa’s dress. I have to say I’m impressed with the quality of the pen given its price point. It writes nicely and is rather beautiful. This would be a great beginner or gift pen to someone just getting into fountain pens.
