Narwhal Piston Fill Fountain Pen

These are great pens. I have the blue, green and yellow. They have the great functionality of TWSBI but have a less industrial look. (I like both). The nibs have been great (All “Fine” in my case). I’d recommend them for daily use or as gifts. Fantastic quality for the money - as good as pens costing far more.

This Narwhal is a slightly oversized gorgeous, green mottled pen with a generous medium nib. All of the aesthetics aside, this is the best and smoothest writing modern fountain I’ve bought in several years. Hands down the best writer. It’s on my desk and gets used everyday.
While I’ve never known the Narthal name in the past, I’ll certainly be on the look out for this brand in the future

I’m very pleased with the purchase of this colorful pen. It’s well made, very comfortable in the hand, and, most importantly, it writes great. The nib is smooth and with just the right amount of wetness for my taste. I was a bit leery of the piston filling system, since I’ve had problems with other pens before, but the Narwhal’s worked fine from the first time I filled it, and it’s been flawless since. I’m enjoying my Hippocampus Purple pen with Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses. The Narwhal is a great value overall, and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Bought this pen for a friend who likes pink. Felt that it was a piston fill that it would be a good intro into this type of pen. Amazed at that quality. Light, but confident in construction. Did a small dip writing sample, writes fine lines with smooth feedback. Worth the price point.
