If you've ever wanted to learn calligraphy, but weren't sure where to start, Oblique Pen Holders can help you to write at an angle that would be difficult to achieve by using a straight fountain pen. The Oblique Pen Holder was created to make calligraphy a more comfortable experience for the artist.
Here's how it works: the pen (body of the scorpion) lifts off of the stand (the legs) - then, the nib that is angled to the right is able to be dipped into your favorite bottle of ink.
Another great thing about this pen is that you can actually swap between Esterbrook, Brause and Speedball copperplate nibs.
The most amazing aspect to the Scorpion is the design. Every detail has been covered meticulously, from the immaculately adorned stinger to the engraved flanges that house the nibs, to the limited edition number plate on the end of the body, and the hand painted and lacquered presentation box.
