I am committed to my ECOs as my low end fountain pen and while this pen has a decent size and an innovative converter filler, the feel of the plastic and the light weight just don’t do it for me. That is not to say you shouldn’t buy it if you’re looking for an inexpensive pen, because it is most likely good enough for you. If you do, and if you want a really fine nib, get the extra fine. I ordered two, one in F and one in B, the latter is fine because with some inks I want the wider line but the one I would use for finer inks, this nib is a bit too wide. It is however, a nice and wet writer. So, if you need a pen in the under $30 category, but this one.
I ordered a TWSBI Swipe with a stub 1.1 nib after watching a review on YouTube. I wasn’t disappointed when I received it, and after writing with it for the last two weeks, I have to say that I’m very pleased with the purchase. The nib is fantastic. It makes my handwriting look good, and it’s smooth, without any skips or hesitations. Additionally, the pen comes with two converters and a large ink cartdrige, which is an excellent deal.
I bought this pen to celebrate my new job. I find it smooth and easy to write a million notes a day. I love the filling options and how it looks with the ink I bought.
I’m amazed at the quality and attention to detail. Fine point writes perfectly out of the box. The snap top is secure, snd the cap posts nicely. The barrel is smooth and comfortable. All of the accoutrements makes for a sweet pen for anyone. The price point is insane. Cheers!
