This pen is as solid and well-made as you will find. It's too heavy to comfortably write posted (though it can be); however, unposted it's not bothersome to me. It is a "medium" size pen, a bit smaller than one would typically expect for this price. The nib is also a bit smaller (maybe a size 4) than most in this class. Writing is very smooth and consistent with no skipping or drying out even when left uncapped for several minutes. The fine nib is what most people will likely want, a nice width halfway between a true fine and a medium, and with a bit of flex. It comes in a nice box (though no leather case as shown in the photos) and certainly would make a nice gift pen. Overall quite impressive. Best for women who don't mind a solid, heavier pen---or men who like a pen in the mid-range size similar to a Pelikan 400.
