It writes very well and the plunger piston mechanism is easy to use, and very fast for filling or cleaning the pen. For $19, this pen is an excellent value. For me personally, the ECO is slightly thinner, and fits my small-ish hands a little better. For that reason, it's not my favorite pen, but it is up there in my top 3 favorites.
I purchased this pen based on all the wonderful reviews I kept reading about it and, of course, how gorgeous it looks! I got the 1.1 nib since I love to write calligraphy. After much anticipation, I am a little disappointed with the performance of the nib. I don't know if I got a defective one because this one is very dry and skips a lot. I cleaned it as best as I could, but I'm still having issues with it. I don't know enough to do anything else to probably fix the flow of ink. Sadly, I will not be able to use this pen as one of my EDC because of this :( If anyone knows anything I can do to fix this issue, I welcome your suggestions as I would very much love to have this pen working in prime condition. It is a gorgeous pen.
It's a comfortable pen and writes great right out of the box. The vacuum fill mechanism is smooth. Altogether it is a great value in today's pen world. As always Truphae's customer service is exceptional.
I purchased this pen after really enjoying my TWSBI Eco, but wanted something that was easier to clean and change inks in. This pen writes just as smooth as my Eco, is a breeze to clean, and is super portable! It also holds a decent amount of ink for how small the pen is. I couldn't be happier with this pen! I purchased a Fine nib, and will most definitely purchase both the 1.1mm Stub, as well as a Medium. If your on the fence, I highly recommend you take the leap and purchase it! You won't be disappointed.
Just opened my Truphae order today and inked up this TWSBI Go demonstrator pen with one of my favorite inks (Private Reserve Electric DC Blue). I actually came here to pick up another Luoshi Labyrinth pen since my wife horked onto mine. While I was looking at the site - I picked up a couple of the TWSBI pens to try. All I can say is WOW this pen writes smoother than my Sailor at many times the price! Really love how wet and smooth this pen writes. The fill mechanism is one of the coolest I've ever had the pleasure of using - it works fast and made inking the pen super clean and easy - a real pleasure. If you have been thinking about picking one of these up - I'd highly recommend it before they go up in price. Very nice pen for the money! I'd say I'm a fan and will be buying many more TWSBI pens.
