The TWSBI GO is the most affordable TWSBI fountain pen yet! A unique feature of this model is the spring loaded piston. This pen has a translucent smoke grey body and clear grip section, so you can see your ink and the spring piston mechanism at work, and has a clipless push/snap cap. It is incredibly easy to fill this pen from bottled ink - simply unscrew the barrel to access the plunger, submerge the pen’s nib down into the ink, press down on the piston to compress the spring, and it will fill the barrel with ink! Screw the barrel back on and you’re ready to write. It is completed with a silver stainless steel nib.

Great pen!

The wide nib is great for shimmer ink, and the spring piston makes reloading the pens super simple. It’s a little too fat for my hands, but my daughter saw the ink (Diamine Infernal Orange) and ran off with it. She loves it - it’s encouraging her to work on her penmanship.

Go Review

I had a little initial difficulty filling it, probably ought to have found a video. But all's well. I enjoy writing with the pen. While the fine nib is satisfactory (I avoided the pun) I think I'll try an extra-fine nib next.
One point of mild concern is the cap. Just a bit flimsy, I'm afraid that I might crush it sometimes whilst uncapping the pen.
All in all, great value for the pri8.

Excellent inexpensive pen

It writes very well and the plunger piston mechanism is easy to use, and very fast for filling or cleaning the pen. For $19, this pen is an excellent value. For me personally, the ECO is slightly thinner, and fits my small-ish hands a little better. For that reason, it's not my favorite pen, but it is up there in my top 3 favorites.

Issues with the 1.1 nib

I purchased this pen based on all the wonderful reviews I kept reading about it and, of course, how gorgeous it looks! I got the 1.1 nib since I love to write calligraphy. After much anticipation, I am a little disappointed with the performance of the nib. I don't know if I got a defective one because this one is very dry and skips a lot. I cleaned it as best as I could, but I'm still having issues with it. I don't know enough to do anything else to probably fix the flow of ink. Sadly, I will not be able to use this pen as one of my EDC because of this :( If anyone knows anything I can do to fix this issue, I welcome your suggestions as I would very much love to have this pen working in prime condition. It is a gorgeous pen.

Twsbi Go - Great value

It's a comfortable pen and writes great right out of the box. The vacuum fill mechanism is smooth. Altogether it is a great value in today's pen world. As always Truphae's customer service is exceptional.
