Recently under new ownership, Private Reserve inks now have a modernized logo and new gift box. The new 60ml (2.03oz) glass bottle has a ridged black cap.

All Private Reserve inks are vibrant and rich and suitable for all fountain pens.

Great dried-blood-esque ink shade

Nicee! I really like this ink! It’s not exactly like the type of bright, corn syrup-ish blood you’d see in a movie, but more of an oxidized, dried-blood color. The exact shade is a cross between brown, maroon, and rusty-sienna (depending on the paper I’m using, the ink can lean more towards any of those 3 tints). The ink is also on the wet side & flows well, and is easy to clean. Once again I’m super-happy ordering from Truphae — thanks!

Brown, NOT Red

Frankly, I'm quite disappointed with this color.
With a name like "Vampire Red" I was hoping for a deep, "dried blood" reddish color.
Turns out it's... plain ol' brown.
Sorry, but this is a real YAWN.
My very first ink purchase from your site and it's truly underwhelming.
