This pen is impressive not only for its quality craftsmanship but also for its presence. It is much larger than any other ballpoint pen I have used. Its size and weight not only add to its presence but actually aid me in writing. The pen is well balanced so the weight of the pen does not interfere with the movement of the pen when writing. In fact the weight help press the pen onto the paper allowing me to write in a more relaxed style. The large size also makes it easier for me to hold the pen in a relaxed fashion. I should note that I use this as a desk pen. I do feel it would be a little heavy to carry around and certainly would be to heavy to place in a shirt pocket. I was concerned about both the weight and size when considering the purchase but have found that for me they are an asset., This is my favorite Ballpoint pen and writing with it is a pleasure.
