The TWSBI ECO fountain pen boasts an incredible value with its piston filling system and affordable price. Like many other TWSBI fountain pens, it features a crystal clear acrylic barrel so you can see your ink level, and a lilac pink cap and piston knob. The pen cap has an inner cap to ensure a perfect seal when stored away. It is completed with silver trim and a silver stainless steel nib. This color is a limited production run.
TWSBI’s belief is that it is important to allow the user to disassemble and reassemble the pen and completely experience the traditional aspects of owning and using a fountain pen. These pens also come packaged with a wrench and silicone grease. Neither of these accessories are intended to be used immediately, as they are for long-term care and maintenance. Additionally, please use extra care if you choose to disassemble the nib and feed, as the feed is very fragile.
This pen is beautiful, and writes amazing!
I have a million pens from different manufacturers, but I am collecting more TWSBIs because they ALWAYS work, the second I take the cap off. They never skip or scratch and I love that I always know how much ink is left. These are my faves!!
I love the TWSBI regardless but now it’s in LSU purple!
I love my TWSBI!! It writes smoothly. I’ve been using it almost every day. It also holds a good deal of ink!! Thank you Truphae!!
This is my first TWSBI experience, and it's nothing short of spectacular. Pluses: Largest ink reservoir, great ergonomics, esthetically pleasing, and a really nice stainless steel nib. This fine point is like an extra-fine German nib. It's firm, and delivers a smooth line. Considering this is the least expensive pen in the collection, I'm impressed. I have a Pelikan M200 Demonstrator which is around $100 more money, and the writing experience is close. The Pelikan appears to have a firmer, shinier plastic barrel and cap - the fit and finish is a bit better. The Eco's behemoth ink reservoir, however, makes the Pelikan's look small. The Eco is a larger pen than the M200, and it also feels better in the hand. I should mention that the packaging is quite nice with silicone, a wrench, and detailed instructions. Very impressive $32 pen. Cheers!
