Brian I haven't used this notebook yet, but I've been using clairfondaine for a long time, and I love them. This is a beautiful notebook. I was worried that the gold might look a bit cheap, but it's actually pretty cool looking, and the cover feels really nice. I was very pleasantly surprised. The binding also seems very good.
