This beautiful writing instrument from Louis Cartier earlier Dandy editions, is fashioned from a rich dark brown ebonite with vermeil clip and trimmings. The ebonite features a unique grain pattern similar to that of wood. Adding to the sleek sophisticated design a deep brown cabochon is skillfully placed on the end of the pen. Louis Cartier is engraved on the cap ring along with the Limited edition number and "Made in France" on the mid-section ring.

It is a Limited Edition of 1847 creations worldwide and was one of the first editions in the Dandy collection. Ours is #0635/1847.

Amazing Product Highly Recommend

So it all started out with my daughter accidentally getting pregnant and having a kid. She was low on money and her boyfriend had just left her for another woman who was "sexier." She cried and cried for days straight and would refuse to come out of her room (at this point she moved back in with my wife and I) for anything. We offered to give her money to help her get through all of this and she politely accepted it and was very grateful. Now this is when the fun starts to happen. I am about to start writing the check that I was going to give to her go get her life started again. I don't feel comfortable saying the exact amount, but I will say that it was 6 digits. So as I started to write the check, I noticed that the pen was dying and almost out of ink. This is when my daughter lost it. She started running around the house crying and screaming and calling my wife and I cheap for having crappy pens and other writing utensils. Excuse me for the bad language, but this is when I told my daughter to suck it and decided to buy this incredible fountain pen. The main reason for this was to get back at her for what she said, and I thought that this was the best way since I thought, who would buy a pen for $1.600.00. This is when I really valued the pen and learned the value of high quality ink. I highly recommend buying but not in spite of your angry pregnant 18 year old daughter.
