This Nettuno Nineteen-Eleven fountain pen features a matte black resin body, complemented with silver sea-inspired details. It fills via standard international cartridge/converter and uses a beautifully engraved JoWo #6 steel nib.

Nettuno was originally founded in 1911 and was recently revived in 2018. They are now handmade in Naples, Italy by the Maiora Pen Company, which is managed by the former co-founder and president of the Delta Pen Company.

This particular pen is a Truphae exclusive, and is a limited, numbered edition of just 250 pieces!

Nailed it! Black Sands Beauty!

I've been eyeing the Black Sands, matte finish with rose gold, since it debuted. So this Truphae Limited Edition was a most welcome surprise in my Inkcredible box this month! Soft black finish reminds me of another classic, the L2K. Tiniest bit of flex with the big, long-tined Jowo #6. Fun blind cap option for filling. Be aware the converter is a screw-in. Inked with ST Dupont Noir and it's writing beautifully out of the box. Very pleased.

Beautiful and excellent writer

I received this beauty as part of the monthly subscription. It is gorgeous. The nib is a Jowo nib and feed. The pen is as smooth as silk, and I enjoy it daily. You can’t go wrong with this pen, and I recommend Truphae too.

Nineteen Eleven! Classic Beauty

This was a wonderful surprise when my box arrived today and I received the Nettuno 1911 Black Sands Truphae Limited edition along with a bottle of Taccia Black Jeans. This is truly a top shelf pen. The attention to design... the materials... the fit and finish... the balance and smooth wet nib all say great writing instrument. I have many fountain pens, but the feel of this one in the hand is the perfect weight. All this along with it being one of 250 Limited Edition makes it the best pen I never knew I wanted... thanks Truphae for introducing me to the Nettuno brand and this pen!

Excellent fountain pen

I received this pen in my Inkredible™ Box: Collector Premium Monthly Subscription, and I love it. The styling, materials, and performance have all been fantastic. The nib is tuned perfectly and feels smooth with just a perfect hint of feedback. I have it filled with Monteverde Yosemite Green, which also came in my subscription box. I am happy to have gotten it, and kudos to whoever is picking the fountain pens for my boxes.
