The Persona was Lamy’s flagship model from 1990 to 2004 — an incredible run by any measure! It’s the direct descendant of Lamy’s current flagship, the Imporium. The two look remarkably like one another, with the main difference being the nib used on the fountain pen. Persona uses a unique 18k gold nib, whereas the Imporium uses the standard LAMY 14k gold nib.
The Persona was designed by the famous Italian designer and architect Mario Bellini, who is also credited for designing the Imporium.
This particular pen is in mint condition, and comes with the original boxes and papers. The nib was custom ground by Mike Matsuyama.
