I received this pen as part of an Inkredible subscription box, and was thrilled with it from the start. It is a beautiful pen and feels great in my hand. I love the weight and balance. The real plus is that it writes as beautifully as it looks. I have a fine nib and it provides a very smooth writing experience on the page.
Truphae has done it again! The colors in this pen just pop. I always loved Delta fountain and like many in the FP community, I lamented the end of Delta. The Maiora Pen Company makes all of their pens by hand in Naples, Italy and is managed by the former co-founder and president of the Delta Pen Company. The crafstmanship and styling reminds me of the Delta line. The nib has little feedback and lays down a nice wet line. The pen is well balanced either posted or not posted. I prefer non-posted writing. The pen feels great in my hand and I do not tire writing with it. I inked with the Pilot Iroshizuku Syo-ro ink and was very impressed with the combination both visually and in performance. The pictures do not give justice to the visual appeal. It has to be seen to get the full impact.
I've had my Maiora Mediterranean for months now. My first experience with the brand. One of my favorite purchases ever. It looks gorgeous, is a great size and a joy to write with. Perfect balance makes my script look good. Really impressed.
It's gorgeous, yes. But the weight and design/feel are also very well thought out, in my humble opinion, and really add to the overall sense of quality.
An absolutely beautiful combination of yellow/green and light blue. Also, I was surprised by how smooth the steel nib was! Really a terrific writer.
