Risorgimento (The Resurgence) was the political and social movement that agglomerated different states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of Italy in 19th century. On March 17, 1861, Vittorio Emanuele II was proclaimed King of the newly-formed Italy.
Marlen honors this important historical period in the same year of the celebrations for the 150 years of Unity of Italy, with a limited edition devoted to Risorgimento. The fountain pen is presented in Italian resin, with large bands of low-relief decorating the body, reproducing the meeting between Giuseppe Garibaldi and Vittorio Emanuele, in bronze. The clip is always in sterling silver, with a bronze medallion depicting Italy's silhouette. This is a limited edition - only 150 pieces were made.
