Produced in the 1960s, the Montblanc No. 74 features a sleek two tone body with black precious resin on the body, and a gold plated cap. The design comes full circle with the matching black cap top tying in with the black resin body. It has an 18k gold nib, and a beautiful amber colored ink window. The pen is a piston filler mechanism for bottled inks, and the ink window allows the user to check the ink level at any point. The amber color reminds the user that this is a truly hard to find, vintage collector's piece.
This particular pen is in near mint preowned condition. It appears to have never been used, but comes without the original boxes and papers.
