Produced in the early 1970s, the Montblanc No. 126 was released early on with a stainless steel nib and cap. It became so popular the Montblanc decided to put it into their regular production, but instead with a Sterling silver cap and a gold nib. Early versions had a 14k gold nib, and later versions had an 18k gold nib.
This particular pen is a rare piece from the later Sterling Silver and 18k gold nib series, and is in mint preowned condition. It comes without the original boxes and papers.
