The Nautilus is outfitted with a stainless steel, number 6 size nib made in-house by Narwhal. Writers enjoy Narwhal's nibs for their smoothness and consistency from day one. The tip widths run a bit thicker than their designations.

Beautiful pen! I got the Fine nib. Loaded it with Monteverde “Blueberry Muffin” - a nice match. Effortless writing. I love the look and feel of the Ebonite better than the lighter Acrylic bodied Nautilus. Plus the ink veiwing “Portholes” give the pen extra character. I hope Narwhal starts producing more of the ebonite models. Hey Chris, is Truphae going to introduce a special edition ebonite? Enquiring minds want to know! 😀
