Noodlers' Russian Eternal inks looked interesting. Note, 'eternal' does not mean entirely waterproof. The ink flowed well in my Pilot Metropolitan, medium nib and color is a redish brown (or a brownish red?) On copier paper it was quick drying and stable when brushed with water. On mixed media sketch book, after ink dried a full day, water washed a very pale tan from the base color. That's not a complaint. I'm happy with my purchase. I will use this ink for landscape sketching. Paper and pen make a difference when it comes to ink performance!
This is a lovely rust red shade. It flows well and dries fast. You can use this with watercolor or ink washes, as it is waterproof. The bottle arrived filled to the brim, as per usual with Noodlers ink.
