The Parker Sonnet Queen's Accession was produced as a Special Edition in 2002, in order to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee. This celebration was in honor of the 50th anniversary of the enthronement of Queen of Britain of Elizabeth II.
In the cap, the usual crown that is placed on the cap top is lacquered in purple just like the body; the clip is gold plated, as is the majority of the cap. The cap features a matte finish, which is engraved on the left side "ACCESSION" and "THE QUEEN'S GOLDEN JUBILEE", while on the right "Parker" and "Sonnet". The body is lacquered in purple, the color associated with royalty and is topped with a gold plated ring, which marks the beginning of the black plastic grip section, whose part near the nib, is adorned in another gold-plated ring. The pen was released in 2002.
It comes without the original boxes and papers. It is in excellent preowned condition. It appears to have never been inked, but has a few scratches on the cap.
