Automatic mechanical chronograph modified and personalized at U-Boat specifications for date display and stem position at 9 o’clock. Frequency: 28.800 vibrations per hour, 4 Hz. Power reserve: 48 hours. 25 jewels. Height: 7 mm.
FUNCTIONS: Hours, minutes, small second, chronograph 60 s, counter 30 minutes and 12 h. Date window at 9 o’clock.
CASE: In titanium, with subsequent treatment of IP Black coating. Diameter: 47 mm. Case thickness: 18,90 mm. Watertight on axis reset and assured charge by PTFE gasket. Bi-directional rotating bezel, in titanium, lockable with a lever on the right side of the case. Fixing of revolving bezel by 3 screws encapsulated in the back case; the bezel removal, for maintenance and washing obtained by removing the three screws, does not affect the watch watertight. 12 o’clock ball indicator on the bezel made of ceramic, minutes indicators in gold 18 K. Crown, chrono button, screws on the bezel, bezel release lever in rose gold, 18 K, gold total weight around 15,40 gr.
BACK: In titanium, fixed on case with 6 encapsulated hexagon screws in steel.
DIAL: Two superimposed dials, one in rose gold 18 K and one in matt black, laser cut. Baton hands.
CRYSTAL: Sapphire glass.
WATER RESISTANCE: 300 mt, 30 ATM.
STRAP: Hand made and hand finished alligator black leather, square scale, tongue titanium buckle, tongue of the buckle in 18 K rose gold. Width: 23/23 mm. Fastened to the case with screws.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES: All engravings on this piece are carried out by mechanical pantograph. The resistance of this piece is tested in an autoclave at 40 bar before the final assembly is completed. The winding crown was built in two parts: one is attached to the movement stem whilst the other is hinged to it with a pivot. This gives a flexible joint configuration which allows the crown to protrude considerably from the watch itself for winding and setting, yet returning it to a protected, hidden position, diminishing the side clutter when in action. The water-tight crown protection attached to the stem is assured by a clipping gasket in energized Polytetrafluoroethylene and by an o-ring twin-arrangement.
