A Truphae exclusive! This Stipula Adagio fountain pen has a unique faceted bright blue resin body. It has a metal grip, a threaded cap, and silver trim. It fills via built-in piston mechanism, and utilizes a #6 steel nib. All Stipula fountain pens are handmade in Italy. The Grotta Azzurra is a limited edition (not numbered) of just 300 pieces made exclusively for us.

The new Stipula collection comes from the praise of the slowness that in great music takes its name "Adagio". A slow and relaxed time that reconciles with reflection and calmness.

This fountain pen has a fixed piston operated by the rotating knob, firm and solid in the hands of its user. The pen body and cap have eight facets, with resin materials rich in unexpected opalescence and nuances with translucent and discreetly luminescent features in the dark. The high performance and reliable nib is available in steel with a fine, medium and calligraphic 1.1mm.

Due to the threaded cap and the faceted body, we do not recommend posting this pen.

Great Pen!

Tends to write better on thicker paper. Overall great color, size and grip. Seems lighter in weight than expected.

Another Fantastic Exclusive

This pen is very nicely done. The color on this Stipula exclusive is fantastic. I tried the flex nib version and it did take a minute of fine tuning after I ran some warm water through it and it writes beautifully. You may not have to tune yours. The exclusives they do are first class. I have several of them and they are my daily writers.The piston operates smoothly and the pen holds a good amount of ink. Nice grip area to hold the pen. Does not need to be posted in any size hand. I look forward to the next exclusive.
