I received this pen in a subscription box with a nib. The first thing to note is that this is a snap cap design and it is VERY tight. I had to pull the cap very strongly to get it off. After some time in use, it is OK. But another member of my family was completely unable to remove the cap from the pen they received and returned it. An up side of the tight snap is that the cap snaps to post very securely. At first I found it to be unpleasantly dry and fine--the tines were rather tightly pressed together. After some work on my part with brass shims and micro mesh, I have it to the point where I am happy writing with it. For a German pen with a similar look and feel, see the Lamy Studio, which is also a better value at half the price with a steel nib, or about the same with a gold nib.
The kit did not include a converter. There was a single large cartridge of very nice Edelstein ink.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
