The pen design and colors caught my eye, but the sale price made this my early birthday gift! I wasn't sure how it would feel in my hand, but the Pelikan Souveran M400 tortoiseshell white is perfect! It is also my first piston filled FP, but has quickly become my favorite pen. I ordered it with Kyo No Oto ink, but a light brown would have coordinated with the gorgeous mosaics in the pen just as well. I'm looking forward to the Pelikan Hub, where I can see more of the Pelikan offerings.
