Introducing the Esterbrook Estie Maui fountain pen! The latest Estie in the Esterbrook collection, the Maui Estie fountain pen pulls inspiration from Maui's varied geological attributes. The famous Hawaiian island's enigmatic charm is reflected in the recent pen release's stacked acrylic blend in vibrant shades of blue, green, and red. The first design of its kind for Esterbrook, there was no better pen to represent the enigmatic charm of the island.
The Estie pen design is clean and understated with a ringless center and a sleek, narrow clip. The Estie uses either a standard international ink cartridge or converter and comes fitted with a modern #6 German JOWO nib.
The Esterbrook Estie Maui fountain pen accepts the MV nib adapter, which allows a vintage Esterbrook nib to be used on the pen as well. Note: MV adapter must be purchased separately.
All About the Scribe Nib:
Esterbrook's new Scribe nib is created in New York by a nib maker named Josh Lax. The Scribe fountain pen nib is similar to an architect nib; ground into a wedge for broad cross-strokes paired with narrow downstrokes.
Note: Specialty nibs such as the Journaling or Scribe are custom grinds and take longer on special orders for delivery.
