The LAMY Studio Special Edition Petrol Rollerball Pen combines Hannes Wettstein's streamlined Studio silhouette with a dark petrol finish and the fluid writing character of a rollerball. The gently curved all-metal body keeps the design restrained, while the sculptural propeller-shaped clip supplies the Studio's defining visual accent.
The Studio is assembled in Heidelberg, Germany, and has received both Good Design and iF recognition. The Petrol special edition gives the familiar form a deep blue-green character while preserving the collection's polished metal details and balanced proportions.
The rollerball uses the LAMY M 63 refill, delivering a smooth, free-flowing line with the convenience of a replaceable refill. It offers a lower-effort writing feel than a ballpoint while retaining the practical capped format of the Studio collection.
