Aurora’s Optima Fountain Pen in Viola brings the house’s storied Italian craftsmanship to a richly saturated purple Auroloide resin. Shaped in Italy and finished with crisp metal trims, the Optima balances classic proportion with tactile detail. A transparent ink window at the grip offers an at-a-glance view of your remaining ink. The signature Greek key motif on the cap band anchors the design to Aurora’s heritage, and a springy, sculpted clip slips easily into a journal or jacket pocket. The Auroloide resin in Viola presents layered purple tones that feel both modern and distinctly Italian.
At the heart of the Optima is Aurora’s in-house 14k gold nib, available in a wide range of widths from extra fine through double broad and stub. The nib delivers a controlled, expressive line with Aurora’s characteristic touch of feedback, offering precision without sacrificing flow. A piston-filling system provides generous capacity for bottled ink, and Aurora’s reserve feature allows a bit of extra writing when the main supply runs low. Drop Shipping: In the event of errors in our on-hand inventory or to expedite delivery, some items may be drop shipped directly from our US distributors. This means that these items will be shipped directly from the distributor's warehouse to your designated shipping address.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
