This is almost the perfect pen for me. It has a little weight to it. Replacing the cap on the pen is probably the best of any pen out there. The color is beautiful. The nib (M) is the best nib I have and this includes other 14kt nibs I have. It is buttery smooth and I have never had any issues. I highly recommend this pen (in any or every color).
The Diplomat Aero fountain pen is beautiful and wrote extremely well right out of the box.
Visually, this pen is pleasant and the grey touches works very well with the "champagne" color of the body.
In hand, the pen feels very sturdy, with a precise and smooth design ; it has a good balance although it is quite heavy.
When it comes to writing, this pen write smoothly ; I didn't encounter any issue with ink flow or hard start (EF nib).
Really good choice, I'm happy with this purchase.
I received this pen in one of my monthly Inkcredible boxes and have found it to to be incredibly solid and reliable. The design of the body is somewhat subtle but is nonetheless a visual and tactile pleasure. The pen sits solidly in the hand and is nicely balanced. The nib is large and smooth with a minimal yet elegant design. I really enjoy this pen although I wouldn’t have picked it out for myself. I am very glad it has found a permanent home on my desk.
