Diplomat Magnum Fountain Pen

i have two of these and other than color, there is no difference. both ef nibs have a little flex and feedback and to me are two of the best (of very,very many) fountain pens i have acquired.

Note: review partially based on personal preference. This is a very lightweight pen (for which I overlooked in a previous review); whereas I prefer one with more substance. More importantly though, the pen often skips. Perhaps if I didn't have a few Lamy Safaris (relatively similar price point), I wouldn't be as annoyed. Chalk it up to quality for the price. The medium nib provides ample size, but again, incomparable to the Safari. Passing on this one.
So happy to have found this small business online. They have great customer service, offer a vast collection of pens and ink, with comparable pricing. Not that I need to buy anything, but definitely considering a monthly subscription. We all need a bit of joy in our lives ;) !

I am so pleasantly surprised by this pen! Writes beautifully a very dependable. Liked it so well, I immediately ordered another one!

This is the first Diplomat i have. i bought this cheap pen just to try the broad nib.I thought a broad nib would have bigger. I am very new to pens but it it smooth. It writes like a fine nib to me. You won't want a better writing pen. It is very wet to a good thing not to much. The pen looks very good also. LOVE THE COMPANY THEY SHIP VERY FAST

Got the green version in my monthly Inkredible Box. Not blown away. Very light weight, so if you like a bit of heft to your pen, this isn't the one. Posting certainly helps! The chrome is not matte finish, but just standard shiny chrome. Three flat sides in the grip area make it easy to line up for writing. Did not like the feel of the threading for the ink cartridge, I felt like I was going to strip the threads when I had to apply some pressure to get the body on after filling with ink. Mine came with the converter. Broad nib is thicker than I like, but writes well. I do like the ability to see the ink level, but haven't gotten low enough to see if you can really tell that it is running low.
