It's a great pen, but the triangular shape makes it difficult to hold. I end up holding near the end and get ink on my finger.
Pininfarina isn't really known for fountain pens. Their strikingly "structural" pencils are compared to the Pompedeau Center in Paris for their use of "exterior design elements." They are arresting and the epitome of Italian design. They nailed it with their fountain pen offering! Sleek, unusual with its triangular shape and "rotating" clip, this pen is everything you want from a pen. Form and function. Be aware that the section is somewhat short so if you grip further back this might not be your pen. There is a steep step from section to barrel. My grip lands right on the transition and somehow that works...it might not for a long writing session. Pleased that I could exchange the all silver for the silver/blue...what a looker! This is Italian design at it's pinnacle, enjoy!!! Received in a Premium Collectors box.
So comfortable to write with, a thinner pen but so cool. Writes so smoothly. Highly recommend this pen.
The pen wrote well out of the box and I really liked the design, especially of the clip. As other reviewers have mentioned, the section is a little thin so it fatigued my hand when writing but I still kept reaching for it because it writes relatively smoothly and looks really sleek. Overall I'm really pleased with this pen.
Nice little pen. Great service!
