Luis Alberto Quispe Aparicio follows a second generation family tradition, since 1968, in the creation of objects d'art and gemstone carving (also known as glyptography), an ancient art with roots from pre-Babylonian times. An engineer by profession, he grew up surrounded by art, sculpture, minerals & gemstones; artists, master carvers and jewelers were ingrained in his everyday life at his family studio in Lima, Peru, where he spent most of his formative years. His knowledge on precious stones was organically acquired during constant visits to mines around the world where he hunted for exceptional gemstones; making the quest for rarity and quality an exquisite lifetime pursuit. His art is characterized by the fusion of sculpting techniques and those of jewelry fabrication, the use of exceptional gemstones, the daring design and the flawless execution carried out by hand which is vital in order to give a soul to each creation. After mastering his craft, Quispe Aparacio moved to Paris in search for a new vision and to broaden his scope through the specialization in luxury goods. Examples of this can be seen in his collection "The Beast Within" which was inspired by the resounding influence nature has on man after Quispe Aparacio's numerous travels to Africa. Today, though, he travels the world in search for the rarest gemstones to incorporate into his work, his studio specializes in carving rub. The second hardest gemstone found on earth after the diamond, few artists have managed to successfully work with ruby as it requires advanced technique in vision, carving and polishing. His works are displayed in museums in the United States and Europe and enjoyed by private collectors around the world.

Lighters become lucky Talismans & unique objects of desire by combining the know-hows of Maison S.T.Dupont and L’aquart. This year S.T.Dupont introduce Lucky Symbols lighters with a choice of 3 stones: Lapis lazuli is a gemstone of the kind that might have come straight out of the Arabian Nights:  a deep blue with golden inclusions of pyrites which shimmer like little stars. Lapis lazuli is regarded by many people around the world as the stone of friendship and truth.  The blue stone is said to encourage harmony in relationships and help its wearer to be authentic and give his or her opinion openly.

Labradorite is a gemstone that was named after Labrador in Canada, where it was found on the Isle of Paul, near Nain in 1770. Labradorite is thought to be a magical stone that possesses powerful protective properties and helps its wearer to find their true path in life. It is thought to "bring light" to the otherwise unknown, and thus provide its wearer with insight. Additionally, labradorite is credited with having the ability to bring out the positive in people and calm overactive minds, bringing peace to its wearer.

Quartz is quite possibly the most fascinating mineral on the planet. The word quartz is thought to come from the German word "quartz", but the origin of that word is not known. The word crystal, however, comes from the Greek word "krystallos" which means ice. Quartz is a powerful stone; it has been called the "Universal Crystal" because of its many uses. It enhances energy by absorbing, storing, amplifying, balancing, focusing and transmitting. It channels universal energy. Quartz also enhances thoughts, as they are a form of energy. Because it directs and amplifies energy, it is extremely beneficial for manifesting, healing, meditation, protection, and channeling. Due to its ability to balance, quartz is excellent for harmonizing and balancing one's environment.

The amethyst for the pen comes from Brazil. The metallic parts are fashioned from bronze with yellow gold finishes. Each piece was hand made either by carving wax or directly hand hammering the silver. The amethyst on the base comes from Uruguay and it's cut from a complete amethyst geode. It is hand carved with amethyst stone with a plate featuring the limitation number XX/88.

Fully working and ready to use.

Got me a promotion!!

Found mine in the tomb ancient of an ancient Dormir king and it is the best pen for writing down all my staff meeting notes.

I get so many compliments from coworkers, but I’m not sure if it’s because they like it or have learned through forgetting to compliment it that, in addition to being the best pen ever, it doubles as a lightsaber kyber crystal and triples as a soul stone. . . After I obtained Mary and John’s souls I swore to stop, but had an accident with Earl after he used it to stir his coffee, and now I’m the president and CEO of the company and we’re slashing prices and slaying the competition.
