I would call this color "maroon" or "burgundy". This is about as scarlet as the "purple" is actually purple. Great product, but please assign someone else to naming them…
Irresistible deal from Truphae for this lovely unique fountain pen. Lamys are one favorites for economical but not a bit cheap looking or performing fountain pens. The color is unique: like a fine dark Léon Millot wine. (I wouldn’t call it “Scarlet.”)
Love it! It's not scarlet tho! Not your fault...this is the second d pen that isn't anywhere close to the named color!
