I hadn't heard of the Scala previously but it looks really nice and I wanted a pink pen for my birthday. I've been pleased with my Lamy purchases so far and I am really happy with this one!
The fine nib writes incredibly smoothly, almost no feedback at all. The quality difference between this nib and the Safari nib is immediately noticeable.
The slight texture is perfect, good weight, good size in my hand. I don't post my pens and that may make a difference. It may be a bit heavy for me for long writing sessions if I posted it, but without the cap it's perfect.
It came with a converter and a blue cartridge. It is a very good addition to my collection and has made it's way into my top 5 almost immediately.
This is my first time to write with a Lamy Scala. It writes smoothly. I am excited to write with it in my journal.
It’s difficult to find a pastel-colored XF nib fountain pen, so when I saw this pen online I immediately decided to purchase it, and I’m not sorry I did. This pen writes very smoothly without any scratching on the paper. It’s a little on the heavy side since the pen is made from steel, but this is definitely not a deterrent for me.
