The color alone is enough to male me giddy. I love red and this is the perfect color and pen that I have been looking for. It writes just as nice. One thing I noticed about the Lamy, at least the studios cause that's the only Lamy I own (I have one other in Ice blue) , the nib is different than the standard nib and therefore the writing experience is different. It's a bit stiffer? The way you hold the pen and maintain the pens posture is a bit more ...stiff. I don't know a better word. This is not a bad thing...just different. I like the predictability and stability of the writer. It is a perfect daily writer.
